Institute of Pediatric Nutrition (IPN)
The Institute of Pediatric Nutrition was established in 1994 and is comprised of some of the world's leading
experts in nutrition, pediatrics, public health, and nursing. The IPN is one of the organizations in the United
States dedicated solely to educating parents and health care professionals about optimal nutrition for infants and
young children, which ideally begins with breastfeeding. The IPN serves as a resource for parents, health care
professionals, and media on significant developments in pediatric nutrition and the health and well-being of
infants.
For more information about the Institute, call the Institute's toll-free number: (800) 721-5BABY (800-721-5222).
