Abbott Nutrition is pleased to announce that EleCare Unflavored is now available with DHA and ARA - ingredients to help support brain and eye development. EleCare is an amino acid-based medical food and infant formula with iron. Abbott Nutrition is pleased to announce that Enlive! Clear Liquid Nutrition has been reformulated with a great new taste. As part of the reformulation, Enlive! Peach will be phased out and replaced with a new Mixed Berry flavor. Ensure Plus® Launches with NutraFlora® Prebiotic Fiber
Most healthy adults only take in just over half of their daily fiber requirement. This is likely to be much lower for those with compromised health who rely on oral nutritional supplements for a good portion of their diet. To help satisfy their needs, Abbott Nutrition has added 3 g of fiber in every 8-oz serving of Ensure Plus.Not Just Any Fiber
Ensure Plus contains 2 g of NutraFlora® scFOS (short-chain fructooligosaccharides), a natural, soluble, prebiotic fiber. Ensure Plus also has 1 g of Fibersol-2, a soluble fiber sourced from cornstarch. All of the fiber used in Ensure Plus is fermented in the intestinal tract, keeping it a low-residue product.
Immune Benefits
By nourishing the friendly bacteria in the gut, NutraFlora increases the production of Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria, while inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
