Product Description
Usage
A nutritionally complete soy-based formula for infants with feeding problems such as fussiness, gas, and spit-up; for infants whose parents choose a milk-free formula as a first feeding or as a supplement to breastfeeding. A complete formula for infants with IgE-mediated allergy or sensitivity to cow's-milk protein. A lactose-free feeding for patients with disorders for which lactose should be avoided, including lactase deficiency and lactose intolerance. Isomil® Powder is the preferred form for infants with galactosemia.
Precaution
- Soy formulas are not recommended for premature infants with birth weights less than 1800 g.

Preparation
Concentrated Liquid
Standard dilution (20 Cal/fl oz) is one part Concentrated Liquid to one part water.
Powder
Standard dilution (20 Cal/fl oz) is one unpacked, level scoop of Powder (8.7 g) for each 2 fl oz of water. The contents of one 12.9-oz can (365 g), when mixed to standard dilution, will yield approximately 94 fl oz of formula.
