SIMILAC SENSITIVE is a 20 Cal/fl oz, nutritionally complete infant formula that is an alternative to standard milk-based formulas. For fussiness,<sup>*</sup> gas,<sup>*</sup> or mild spit-up. Suitable for infants with lactose sensitivity.<sup>&dagger;</sup>

Preparation

Instructions for Use:

Your baby's health depends on carefully following these directions. Proper hygiene, handling and storage are important when preparing infant formula. Failure to follow these directions could result in severe harm. Ask your baby's doctor if you need to use cooled, boiled water for mixing and if you need to boil (sterilize) utensils, bottles, nipples and rings before use.

  1. Wash your hands, surfaces and utensils. Pour water into clean bottle (see mixing guide).
  2. Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.8 g) to each 2 fl oz of water. Return dry scoop to can.
  3. Cap bottle; shake well; attach clean nipple.
  4. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.


Powder Mixing Guide

Measure water+Add scoop(s) of unpacked level powder using enclosed scoop
2 fl oz 1 scoop (8.8 g)
4 fl oz 2 scoops
6 fl oz 3 scoops
8 fl oz 4 scoops


Each scoop adds about 0.2 fl oz to the amount of prepared formula. For larger size mixing instructions, please visit www.Similac.com/mixinginfo.

When mixed as directed:
12.5 oz container makes approximately 90 fl oz of formula.
20.1 oz container makes approximately 145 fl oz of formula.
29.8 oz container makes approximately 215 fl oz of formula.

STORAGE:

  • Once mixed, store bottles in the refrigerator; feed to baby within 24 hours.
  • Store unopened or opened container at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Use opened can contents within 1 month.
